By following these steps, you not only can be selected for Sarkari Naukri but for good Private Sector job also and by taking these steps, the chances of your clearing the examination in the first attempt become high.

1. Make a Habit to Read Newspaper Daily
Current affairs make an important part of any Government Service Examination. In spite of this, Job Seekers fails to read newspapers daily. Instead, they rely more on monthly magazines and current affairs edition to keep them updated. This is not the ideal approach for this examination. Depending only on magazines will make them mug up the limited information. They fail to develop an understanding of the issue. Therefore, it is important to read newspapers daily to keep yourself aware of the latest current affairs. Keep magazines as supplements for preparing for Sarkari Naukri examination. A Good General Knowledge will help at every step, it will open up you mind for new things, it will help you in the examination, as well as in the Interview and also in the general life daily. Try to read one news paper in Hindi (or in any Regional Language) and one English news paper daily. There is a lot of difference between the content of Hindi / Regional Language news papers and English news papers.
2. Improve English
The thing is, we are generally poor in Good English. Specially candidates from rural India or from small towns. Even candidates from Big Cities are not that much perfect to pass the examination of English. Believe me, in Central Government and in most of the Public Sector Undertakings (PSU), the work culture is of English only. 100% work is being completed in English only, be it noting or drafting or general orders. In High Courts and Supreme Court, all work is in English only, therefore, improve your English if you want to get a Good Government Job. English should be improve for both reading and speaking.
